Description/Job Summary

Farm Credit of Central Florida, ACA, headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, is an agricultural lending cooperative serving farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses and rural home owners in 13 central Florida counties. The Association is part of the $217 billion Farm Credit System, the Nation’s largest agricultural lending institution. We are seeking an experienced Compliance Coordinator to ensure processes and employees adhere to rules established to meet ethical, legal and regulatory requirements. This candidate will control revisions and releases of company policy and procedure documentation, ensuring that current revisions are always available for employees to access and review. The coordinator updates documentation as needed to address changes to laws, regulations, or company rules and obtains proper review and executive approval prior to release. Candidate must maintain a current knowledge of industry standards and outlooks related to responsibility and compliance practices. The candidate will keep employees informed of their responsibilities in complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include awareness training for existing employees as well as training for new employees during orientation. The coordinator plans and performs process and documentation reviews to ensure written policies meet company needs and regulatory requirements and validate employee awareness of the company's rules and expectations. The coordinator provides reports detailing file reviews, rule violations, the status of investigations, corrective or preventive actions underway and any recommendations for compliance program improvements.

Additionally, this candidate will serve as the Standards of Conduct Officer for the Association. Responsibilities include ensuring the Association, Directors and Staff are in compliance with all Standards of Conduct regulations and adhere to Association’s Code of Ethics as well as ensuring all Official Loans are reviewed and in accordance with the Standards of Conduct Policy and Procedure.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, or business law.

• 3 + years of experience in a review, audit, analyst, banking compliance or legal position.

• Strong working knowledge or regulations related to consumer and non-consumer lending.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-Starter and ability to be assertive and arrive at sound business decisions.
